Step One: Complete

Disclaimer: Please remember that I am relaying facts as they have been given to me. I make no claims that they are logical.

Okay, so the fast food place can't hire Tiger straight in as a manager. They have hired him as a cashier. He has to complete some training course before he can become a manager. Apparently it is computer based and he is only limited by how quickly he can complete it.

So that is that. He has found a job that pays $7.50 an hour and he will work 20-30 hours a week. He has stopped looking for a job. Why should he continue? He worked so hard to get this one? (insert sarcasm here).

Now for the new deal. He is to use his first couple of paychecks to catch up on his bills. He doesn't have much. Motorcycle payment, motorcycle insurance, cellphone, storage unit and 2 credit cards. The good news for him is that he is only behind on some of them. It shouldn't take him too long to catch up. Once he is current, he is going to start giving me money for rent. I am going to set the money aside and when he has enough for first and last months rent on his own place, he gone. It is still going to take a few months, but at least he is on the right track.

Now if I could just get him to look for a better paying job. Right now I'm just happy that he has a job. It's his life, and once he's out of my house, he is no longer my problem. If he wants to scrape by for the rest of his life that's on him. Right now I'm going to take what I can get!
