Tuscon was great! I drove down Thursday morning and of course got stuck in traffic. After I had been crawling for about 10 minutes I decided I had better call my boss and let her know that I was late. It turns out that she was a half mile behind me in the same mess! We decided there had better be something really good up ahead to cause so much trouble. It turned out that I waited in several miles of crawling traffic because they had finished construction on an overpass and still had the road merged into one lane. JERKS!
We worked 11 and 12 hour days, and joined various members of our team for dinner each night. It was fun to see everyone outside of work.
I was supposed to leave on Saturday, but it turned out that one of out wittnesses wasn't coming down until Sunday. My paralegal offered that I could stay the extra night if I worked on Saturday. I was all over that!
I had a slow and lazy morning as I gathered my stuff and then headed back up to Scottsdale. Of course I got stuck in traffic again 2 miles from my exit. It sucked! I have a much greater appreciation for the drive Tiger makes everytime he comes home (he is based out of Casa Grande which is half way between Scottsdale and Tucson).
I was my first arbitration and my first case off site. I think it went very well!
