Costa Rica!

I have FINALLY been able to take a trip somewhere cool. I went to Costa Rica for 5 days with friends. I kept telling people I was going on vacation with "the Taras," because I was. Tara M. is my mentor at my full time job. Tara C. is on the same team as me. The 3 of us hang out a lot. Just to make things fun, my old friend Terra P. came along with us. Tara C also brought her boyfriend Kelly. That's right, 5 people, 3 named Tara/Terra. In order to keep things straight, we came up with nicknames. When we left for vacation we agreed that Tara M. would be called "Big T." Tara C. would continue to be called "Mini-me," the name she already goes by which has a story behind it, that I will not go into. Terra P. would be called "Little T." Kelly became "BF" or "the BF," BF standing for boy friend. I did not have a nickname, even though we all agreed that I needed one. As I was labeling the photos, I gave myself a nickname "Not-a-T" seeing as I was the only girl not named Tara/Terra.

Anyway, we had a BLAST. We stayed at the San Jose Marriott, which is georgeous! We walked around downtown San Jose, sat by the pool, and took a "highlights" tour. Follow the link at the bottom of this post to view the photos. We had 5 people and 6 cameras, so to say there are a lot of pictures would be an understatement.

The last day we were there, Big T, Mini-me and the BF went on a white water rafting trip while Little T and I stayed at the hotel. This is why Little T and I are not in the rafting pictures and why Big T, Mini-me and the BF are not in many of the pictures taken at the hotel.

There are still lots of things we want to do, which is a great reason to go back. I highly suggest Costa Rica to anyone interested in going somewhere tropical that isn't very expensive.
