My last day at the paralegal job is this Friday, the 3rd. I start back at the airport on Saturday, the 4th.
The timing is good, the situation SUCKS.
There aren't very many paralegal jobs out there right now and I know that LOTS of people are applying for the ones that are available.
It also seems as though my decision to avoid Bankruptcy, Personal Injury, and Family Law is now biting me in the ass. Those are the only positions available because those are the only attorney's doing any work.
There are several positions available at Luke Air Force Base. I'm going to apply for them, but I'm not going to be happy about the commute, but I don't know what is worse: commuting or moving. It really is a matter of the lesser of the 2 evils and I don't know which I will choose, if I have to. :(
Anyone have any ideas on how to stand out in a crowd of over qualified candidates?
