So Terra and I landed in SLC at 7PM on Monday. It turns out that when Terra got on the plane in Charlotte, they had to gate check her bag, only instead of bringing it back up the jet way in LAX, they sent it to the carousel IN LAX! She only had a 45 minute layover in LA so there was no way she could pick up the bag and get on the flight to Phoenix in time, so she I told her to leave it and we would take care of it when we got to SLC. If the agent in CLT would have just listened to her and checked it all the way to SLC it would not have been a problem at all, but instead they were an ass and Terra got screwed out of her luggage. It showed up on SLC sometime Tuesday night, so I picked it up when I got the the airport for our return flight to Phoenix and met her, her sister and her niece with it. Terra had gifts for her niece in her bag and we weren't leaving SLC without giving them to her niece!
Anyway. Jen met us at the airport with Sono which was AWESOME. We then drove down and met Terra's sister at the predetermined place then headed home. Tuesday I took Chloe to school, then went to the dentist (the reason for the trip to SLC in the FIRST PLACE). The good news is that my teeth are not falling out of my head and I don't have any cavities. After the dentist I picked up Chloe and we headed over to Sears to have pictures taken. I wanted to get a pic with my sis and her girls. They turned out really cute.
From there we went up to Clinton to have a birthday dinner with my family. My grandmother and aunt came down from MT and were visiting my aunt who lives in Clinton. My grandmother's birthday was on the 11th, my 15 year old cousins birthday was on the 8th and mine was on the 17th, so we had a big group party. It was a lot of fun, but wow was it noisy. My aunt has 5 kids, plus Jen's 3 throw in a few neighborhood kids, and it is a zoo!
After we took Chloe to school on Wednesday, Jen and I went clothing shopping. I got this great black shirt. We then picked Chloe up from school and headed to the airport. I met Terra there and we came back to PHX.
It was a short and hectic trip, but it was a lot of fun.
