Giving Thanks

I have never really taken the time to think about all the things in my life that I am thankful for. Every year I hear people talk about what they are thankful for and just thought it was weird. Quite frankly it made me uncomfortable to think about all the things I am thankful for. This year, for some reason, I couldn't help myself. Maybe it is all the stuff I have gone through in the last few years, maybe it is because I have a new outlook on my life. Who knows. I don't know if you are interested, but here are the things I am thankful for.

* my health. I may have my issues, but it could TOTALLY be worse.
* my determination. It sucks working 2 jobs, but at least I have the determination to do it.
* my jobs. Yeah, I have 2 and I still have no money, but things were a LOT worse when I only had 1 for all those months.
* my family. I may not see them very often, but I talk to them alot. They have been there for me through so much. I am who I am because of them.
* my friends. I have so many more these days than I have ever had in my life. There were times when I truely felt alone. I haven't felt that way in a LONG time, all because I have great friends, all over the country, and one in Germany! :)
* working for an airline. It probably sounds funny, but I really am thankful for the job at the airport. I would not be able to leave AZ AT ALL if it weren't for that job. Working there has enabled me to be at some incredible events all over the country that I would not have been able to attend otherwise. I have always wanted to work for an airline, for as long as I can remember, and I am EXTREMELY grateful that I do.

I may not be where I thought I would be at 32, but my life could TOTALLY be worse, so I have chosen to be thankful for the life I have. :)
