Hair Cut

I haven't cut my hair since August. Not because I'm trying to grow it out, but because I haven't found a stylist in AZ I like, and they are REDICULOUSLY expensive down here. For the last 3 years I have been getting my hair cut by the same stylist I had in UT. Yep, I have been going all the way to UT to get a haircut.

Well, my hair was getting REALLY bad and I have no idea when I am going to SLC again. Mostly likely it won't be before Chloe's birthday, and my hair couldn't wait till March.

I got a coupon in the mail for a hair cut at a place near my house for $13.99. I figured that even if they did screw up a trim, at least it wouldn't cost me much. I made an appointment for Saturday.

Turns out that just out of pure luck, the stylist I got is Indian. She grew up on a reservation here in AZ. I LOVE my hair cut. It is SO hard to find someone who can cut my hair well, hence the reason I go back to SLC (that stylist is Asian). I got her card and you can BET that I'll be going back to see her again. She is young, and only been cutting hair for a while, someone I usually stay way from, but she has a LOT of experience with Indian hair because of all the practice she gets on her family and the people on the reservation her mom invites over for a cut whenever she comes home. :)
